 RAISED OVER
 £10,000 IN DONATIONS
 FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY

Cricket Charity Tournament 2024

This past weekend, we hosted a vibrant and successful fundraising cricket tournament and family fun day, marked by an atmosphere of camaraderie, entertainment, and community spirit. The event featured an array of diverse stalls offering live-grilled BBQ, succulent bun kebabs, flavorful biryani, tangy chaat, Algerian tacos, delectable cakes, and warm karak chai, alongside a selection of pastries, henna art, and jewelry. The little ones were delighted with the bouncy castles, adding to the festive feel of the day.

On the cricket pitch, we witnessed some truly thrilling matches, culminating in a historic final where, for the first time, the game ended in a tie, resulting in joint winners—Kings Hill Rangers and Kent Kalanders. This extraordinary finale was a testament to the skill, determination, and sportsmanship of all the players involved.

We are pleased to announce that through the collective efforts of everyone present, we raised an impressive £500. These funds will be directly channeled into providing much-needed medical aid to the poor and needy, making a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the cricket club, the tireless volunteers, and the dedicated cricket players, all of whom played an indispensable role in making this day a remarkable success. Your contributions have not only helped us reach our fundraising goal but also fostered a sense of unity and purpose within our community.

Alhamdulillah after the completion of a successful cricket fundraising charity event and family fun day, we are pleased to share the total amount raised on the day was £5,427 👏🎗️

As promised £1,000 of this earning will be given in aid to the morroccan and Libya earthquake InShaAllah 🙏

We also held an award ceremony to recognise the contributions of our helpers and volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the day !

It was an entertaining series of cricket matches in the tournament but after all the matches, Kent Kalanders came out on top with their convincing victory against Maidstone, well done 🏆🏏

Inshallah, for those who were not able to attend our family fun day event, we will be hosting another one in the new year 😁

Charity Cricket Tournament 2020

Our cricket tournament was an opportunity for our local community to come together and unite in raising charity funds for the medical aid we carry out.

This is an annual charity cricket tournament that brings together cricket enthusiasts, families, and the local community in a spirit of camaraderie and social responsibility. Organized with the objective of raising funds and creating awareness for our cause, the tournament serves as a platform for both professional and amateur cricket teams to showcase their skills while making a positive impact in the community. With a perfect mix of family fun and stalls, the event has become a highly anticipated event on our charity calendar.

Our first monumental event consisted of four teams from the local community of Kent and London.

Here were the results of the day:

1st -> Kings Hill Rangers (WINNERS)

2nd -> Medway Panthers

3rd -> Tunbridge Wells Eagles

4th -> Maidstone Tigers

The tournament offers an unforgettable experience for spectators. The lively atmosphere is complemented by engaging commentary, stalls, and interactive activities for the kids, creating an immersive environment for all. Food stalls, merchandise kiosks, and family-friendly entertainment options add to the overall festive ambience, making it an enjoyable outing for people of all ages.

We want to thank the Cricket ground facilities, the special guests and our hard-working team for making our first charity event a success!

10 Mile Yorkshire Charity Run 2020

One of our committed members, Syed Ammar Husain, had fundraised a total of £500 in donations to support both ''ShareForCare' and 'Sheffield Children's Charity Hospital' by completing his first 10-mile race in York.

The donations were used to provide food emergency ration packs in remote areas of Pakistan in support of poor and needy families suffering from the COVID-19 crisis.
